Main Street Benches

It all started with one bench donated to the city sidewalk in front of Chandler's Floor Covering on Main Street.  Thanks to Mayor Scott James and to Patty and Eddie Chandler for saying YES!  It all took off from there-- until every available space on Main Street was taken with a new bench that was donated by a caring and thoughtful citizen.  This project made Main Street even more inviting!  It says, "Come and sit awhile, enjoy our town, and stop in one of our stores and restaurants to shop and eat!"  We are happy to have YOU visit Saint Albans!
